Texture/Material - Chanderi Tissue Golden Zari Based Striped Fabric   

This fabric, is a blend of pure chanderi silk threads along with pure tissue threads. Its has a golden sheen to it. The sheen is suttle and looks classy giving it a voluminous texture. Transparency or sheer texture is a unique feature of chanderi fabrics. The transparency is due to the single flature quality of yarn. The fabric borrowed its name from the small town Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh where traditional weavers practice the art of producing textured sarees in cotton and silk decorated with fine zari work. Tissue fabrics are thin, woven, gauze-like fabrics. specifically, cloth interwoven with gold or silver threads, or embossed with figures.

The weft of this fabric is chanderi, and the wrap contains tissue threads. The composition of this fabric is beautiful soft and flowy drapes amazingly well as a saree, however these can also be used for kurtis for women, Kurtas  for men, blouses, shirts, dresses, duppattas, stoles etc.
